　TAPFER （タプファー）ドイツ語で「勇敢な」「健気な」という意味です。

　TAPFERのレザー製品はすべての工程を一人で手作業にて製作しています。
素材選び→デザイン→型紙製作→裁断→縫製→磨きetc

 

　手縫い、ミシン縫いと革の性質や用途、デザインによって適した縫製方法で制作しています。

　古い足踏みミシンや３０年以上前のドイツ製ミシン、日本製の革用ミシンにて、一針一針丁寧に縫い上げていくので、ミシン縫いでも量産品とは一味違う美しい仕上がりになるよう、丁寧に縫製しています。ステッチのカラーが豊富なのも魅力です。

デザイン⇒シンプルで機能的そして丈夫。革の質感をいかした柔らかいデザインをこころがけています。

年月が増すごとに愛着がわいてくるようなそしてどこか「雰囲気」のある革製品を製作して行きたいと思います。
